2. What this policy covers
This policy covers personal information we collect through the Site and through direct enquiries, marketing and recruitment contact.
It does not cover personal information contained in client materials that we process when delivering services. Where we process personal information on behalf of a client, we act as a processor under the terms of the relevant services agreement and data processing agreement with that client, and the client's own privacy notice governs that processing. This policy does not vary those terms.

Information from third parties. Business contact information from professional networks, partner referrals, event organisers, and publicly available sources, used to identify and contact prospective clients and partners.
We do not knowingly collect special category personal data through the Site, and we ask that you do not submit it to us through the Site.

5. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to make the Site work, and analytics and marketing technologies that help us understand how the Site is used and how our campaigns perform. These include tools provided by third parties such as our website analytics and customer relationship management providers.
We ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies, and you can withdraw that consent at any time through the cookie controls on the Site. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies, though blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the Site working.
6. Who we share personal information with
We share personal information with:
Group companies, where they are involved in responding to you or delivering services.
Service providers acting on our instructions, including hosting, email, analytics, customer relationship management, and professional advisers. They may only use the information to provide services to us.
Acquirers and their advisers, in connection with an actual or proposed sale, merger, financing or reorganisation of our business.
Regulators, courts and law enforcement, where we are required to do so by law or where it is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising as those terms are defined under United States state privacy laws.
7. International transfers
We operate in the United Kingdom, the United States, South Africa and Argentina, and personal information may be transferred to and stored in any of those locations. Where personal information is transferred out of the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area to a country without an adequacy decision, we rely on appropriate safeguards, ordinarily the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses together with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. You can request a copy of the safeguards we use by emailing legal@telonlabs.com.
8. How long we keep it
We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes set out in this policy. Enquiries that do not lead to a relationship are ordinarily deleted within twenty-four months. Business contact and marketing records are kept until you opt out or the contact goes cold. Records relating to contracts, tax and accounting are kept for the periods required by law. Where information is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised.
9. Security
We maintain technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, alteration and disclosure, including access controls, encryption in transit, and supplier due diligence. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted to us over the internet.
10. Your rights
Subject to the conditions in applicable law, you have the right to:
ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
ask us to delete information, or restrict how we use it;
object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests, including direct marketing;
ask us to transfer information you gave us to another organisation, where it is technically feasible; and
withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, email legal@telonlabs.com. We will verify your identity before responding, and we will respond within one month, or within the period required by the law that applies to you.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or to your local supervisory authority in the European Economic Area.
We do not use automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
11. Children
The Site is directed at businesses and business professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email legal@telonlabs.com and we will delete it.
